Avocado-Mascarpone Dream Cream Dessert Too


For the ones who prefer just the avocado-mascarpone cream without the diced avocados (like Reyali :->), here is another version of my Avocado-Mascarpone Cream Dessert.



1 ripe avocado, from Mexico peeled, pitted, and diced
½ cup mascarpone cheese
½ cup cold whipping cream
4 ½ tablespoons condensed milk


In a large bowl, combine avocado, mascarpone cheese, cold whipping cream, and condensed milk. Using an electric mixer, beat all ingredients together until smooth, creamy and soft peaks form. Transfer to serving glasses. Cover and refrigerate (about 1 hour) until chilled or until serving time.

My 1st 5-star Review

Wow! I'm so happy today because someone actually tried my Avocado-Mascarpone Dream Cream Dessert recipe and gave it 5 stars at Recipezaar!

"This is really good. I was skeptical but hopeful and curious. I'm definitely glad I tried it! I think I preferred the recipe just as the blended part, though, before folding in the rest of the avocado. It's sort of odd to present a green dessert to someone, but if they can get over that it's definitely worth trying. I expect I"ll make this again. Thank you!"- Reyali

We have prepared this 3 times in the last week alone. That's how much my family and I enjoy it.
We also realized that this Avocado-Mascarpone cream is also going to be perfect to use as a filling for cream puffs/eclairs, as an icing for a sponge cake, a topping for pancakes, etc. The sky's the limit! I also want to add that I have stored leftovers in the fridge for 2 days and am very suprised that the green color actually holds up well.

Avocado-Mascarpone Dream Cream Dessert

I was really trying to come up with another avocado recipe that I can enter into the

Adaptable Avocado Recipe Challenge http://www.avocadosfrommexico.com/challenge.aspx

The entry deadline is today, so I had to think of something quick.
My husband suggested that I whip up a dessert this time. So here it is...







Avocado- Mascarpone Dream Cream Dessert


¼ cup mascarpone cheese
¼ cup cold whipping cream
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
1 cup diced ripe avocado from Mexico, divided


Combine mascarpone cheese, whipping cream, condensed milk, and ½ cup of diced avocados in a large mixing bowl. With an electric mixer, beat all ingredients together until smooth and creamy.


Fold in remaining ½ cup of diced avocados into avocado cream. Transfer to serving glasses. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with diced avocado.





My inspiration for this recipe comes from an avocado dessert I grew up eating. I had this last-minute idea of combining mascarpone cheese and avocado to make this dreamy dessert. I think the combination turned out delicious. My husband thought so too!
